Peibio Castle
From the Coast Path an elegant Stone Arch leads down to the Pwll y Gwman beach.
Peibio castle is situated on Ynys Peibio , a ruined small tower, built because of the threat
of a French invasion in 1802 , or possibly a marker for Holyhead Harbour.
And some WW2 structures.
The outcrop the Castle is built on has contourted strata with numerous Spring Squill flowers .
