One of the most isolated Churches in Anglesey - far from any village.
The early medieval church stands in a circular 'enclosure' indicating a very early foundation.
From the 6th Century with elements from C12 , including an unusual roof supported
on cruck, curved roof timbers. Dedicated to Saint Rhwydrus.
Rhwydrus is a 6th Century Welsh Saint , the son of Rodrem, the Irish King of Conacht (Connaught)
